No one living embodies the British mystery writer more than Ann Cleeves, who in October claimed The Crime Writers’ Association Diamond Dagger, the highest honor in British crime writing. Join us for an exclusive dinner with her at the Spinster Sisters in Santa Rosa. Cleeves is all things British: clever, smart, and witty, and wonderful with her fans. Both of her crime series – the Shetland Island, and the Vera Stanhope, started airing on American television this past year. Her new novel COLD EARTH: A Shetland Island Mystery takes place in the dark days of winter when Jimmy Perez finds the body of a dark-haired woman in a silk dress in the wreckage of a house destroyed by a flood of mud and water. Cold Earth has been chosen as one of the best crime books of the year.
Tickets to this special evening event are limited and include the book Cold Earth ($28.20) and a three-course dinner at Spinster Sisters (price is inclusive of tax, tip, and wine).
